A bespoke stand is a product of our design team’s creativity. Our designers respond to the brief using their knowledge, expertise and imagination, with the freedom to use
any material in any size or colour – within the laws of physics and your budget! The choices are infinite, and the results are superb.
A system stand is put together from off-the-shelf components, so it’s restricted by the choice of elements available. It certainly doesn’t offer the range of design possibilities that a bespoke stand can bring.
When considering the two options, it’s always worth bearing in mind issues of sustainability in addition to the creative potential. Most system stand components are manufactured from aluminium, a precious resource. Bespoke stands, on the other hand, tend to be timber-based, and if the timber is sourced from sustainable forests – which ours is – then we feel there is an environmental benefit.
Our bespoke timber-based stands are manufactured to high standards with quality and durability in mind. In our experience, timber-based stands are able to withstand the rigours of use across multiple events over several years – certainly long enough to last until it’s time to evolve the design.
Reusability depends on quality and care being taken throughout every process – from design and manufacture to transportation, site builds and storage. With our expertise and over 40 years of experience behind us, you can always expect exceptional quality and care from us. By accounting for the potential reuse requirements right at the start, we design reusability into your project, making sure as much of it as possible can be used again and again over a number of years.
Most of the components that go into a project are manufactured by us in our own workshop. Timber forms the basis of most of our stands, and our expert technicians have the skills and experience to achieve high-quality results with wood.
Where steel components are required, usually for stand stability, we buy in the steel to our own specifications. We also order acrylic or vacuum-formed items from our suppliers when required.
Yes, we do use sustainable materials whenever we can. We also have our own sustainability policy, and have completed the sustainability accreditation run by our trade body, ESSA.
