Steps to sustainability

Every industry has an impact on the environment, and our exhibitions and events sector is no different. We can’t change the way things worked in the past, but as a responsible and accountable business, we can definitely play our part in shaping a sustainable future.

That’s why we’re taking steps now to adapt the way we work, and collaborate with our suppliers, partners and clients to make positive changes. With our Sustainability Action Plan guiding practical action, we’re making a difference with every project we take on.

A sustainable approach

Benefits of Multi-Stand Agreement

Designed to last

An environmentally and eco-aware approach meaning you only need components manufacturing once.

Cost effective

Reusable stands are a sound investment as your initial purchase gives you a multi-event return.

Sustainable and eco-friendly

Multiple use items will reduce waste in the long term and boost your green credentials.

Why we’re doing it

Over four decades, we’ve built a reputation for design excellence, planning prowess and technical skill – all factors that help deliver the brilliant brand experiences we’re known for. But in a changing world, there’s no room for complacency, and it’s imperative that we build on our accomplishments to become as sustainable and future-focused as we can be.

By taking these sustainability steps today, tomorrow, and into the future, we honour our own 40-year tradition of excellence, and play our part in building a greener world for generations to come.

From investing in energy-efficient appliances and equipment to exploring renewable energy sources, we’re making changes to reduce the energy we use.

We’re choosing sustainable and eco-friendly materials whenever we can, and sourcing locally where possible to reduce transport emissions.

Reusing and recycling materials is a big change for our industry, but it’s vital that we do it. We design reuse into our exhibition stands where we can, and we’ve set up a waste management system to minimise what gets thrown away.

We’re installing water-efficient fixtures throughout our workshop and offices, and making sure everyone understands the importance of using water responsibly.

From optimising transport routes to considering electric vehicles and exploring eco-friendly packaging, we’re working to minimise fuel consumption and cut our carbon emissions.

Sustainable design principles are helping us create exhibition stands and other elements that can be easily disassembled, stored, and reused again and again – much better than throwing materials away and always starting again from scratch.

When it comes to embedding sustainability throughout our business, few steps are as important as training our team, listening to their ideas, and giving them the knowledge and tools to make a difference every single day.

Every client relationship is a collaboration, so it’s important to talk through the principles of sustainable exhibition stand design and construction, and discuss the benefits to them and our environment.

We don’t just hope our sustainability work is making a difference. We want to know for sure. With key performance indicators monitoring energy use, waste reduction, carbon emissions and more, we can make sure we’re moving in the right direction.

We love being involved in our community, and as part of our local commitment, we take part in a range of events and partner with local environmental organisations and causes.
