FIND OUT MORE

If you have questions about what we do, we’re always ready to give you the information you need.

You can send us a message or give us a ring, but you may find we’ve already answered your query in our frequently asked questions.

Take a look – although if you still have questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Yes, we do. We’re proud of the expertise and professionalism throughout our team, and our people are committed to delivering an exemplary service at every stage of a project. For this reason, our clients get the very best from us when we are responsible for the entire project from beginning to end – a complete full service solution.

However, not every client is in a position to work this way, and we are equally able to deliver build-only projects or to focus on other elements if necessary. The best thing to do is to talk to us and discuss your project. That way, we can help you get the results you’re looking for no matter what stage your project is at.

During our four decades in business, the way we work has never stood still. We have always evolved our way of doing things, and working towards a more sustainable future is all part of this essential evolution. With our Sustainability Action Plan guiding practical action, we’re taking the necessary steps to play our part in building a more sustainable world.

Our sustainability commitment has transformed the way our exhibition stands and brand experiences are conceived and created. Our environmentally aware approach means that elements are designed and manufactured for reuse wherever possible, using sustainable materials and eco-aware choices throughout each project.

Sustainability has an impact across our business, covering everything from waste reduction, waste management and transport logistics to water conservation and community involvement. To find out more about our sustainability commitment, take a look at our Environmental page on this website.

Yes, these elements form an essential part of our service.

Creating mood boards is all part of the design process, allowing you to get a feel for the style options available to you. Talking through the mood boards helps us discuss ideas, and gives you an opportunity to indicate your likes, dislikes, and offer insights of your own. Mood boards help us clarify the direction the design will go in – a very important part of what we do.

We also create sample boards to give you a clear and accurate idea of the surfaces and finishes you can expect once elements have been manufactured. We will present a range of options, explaining factors like quality, longevity and cost, and often recommending one or more solutions and spelling out our reasons. We also spend time ensuring that coloured finishes are presented accurately, and that where appropriate, colours are matched with your brand palette.

Virtually all the services we provide are delivered by our own team, so for the most part, the answer is yes.

There are a few important exceptions, but even then, it remains the case that our own team manages the whole process – everything from sourcing a supplier to working closely with them and ensuring the highest quality at every stage. These exceptions include the manufacture of certain metal or plastic elements that can’t be accommodated in our own workshops, and the use of on-site services – such as power supplies, forklifting, and so on – delivered by an exhibition hall provider.

Again though, it’s important to emphasise that in all these cases, we manage these functions as an integral part of our own service to you.

You can never brief a project too early! When we’re briefed in plenty of time, our teams are able to deliver the very best of Aboveline at every stage – from creative thinking and design through to manufacturing, construction and installation.

However, it’s also important to say that if time is limited for whatever reason, we can still deliver a creative solution that meets your needs. So even if your deadline is closer than you’d like, don’t hesitate to talk to us because there’s always an answer. Our people are experts in finding the right solution and making it happen!

It’s perfectly normal for projects to evolve throughout the process. Just because choices are made and designs signed off early in the project, this doesn’t mean that amendments can’t be made further down the line.

We are well used to accommodating these changes, and are always happy to discuss new ideas or act on new information. You can also be confident that whenever changes are discussed and planned, we will also talk through the cost implications with you before any decisions are finalised.

We work worldwide, taking exhibition stands and other brand experiences to countries all over the globe. In most cases, there are two different approaches we can take to work outside the UK depending on circumstances and the choices made by each client.

When it comes to delivering items to venues outside the UK, we can either handle everything ourselves, including the transportation, or we can appoint a courier and manage the process from end to end.

As for the installation, there are also two options: either our own team travels to the location and installs everything, or we appoint one of our installation partners to do the work. There are a few reasons why an installation partner might be the right solution: for instance, it could be more cost-effective, or there may be rules or regulations that mean our team is not able to operate at the specific destination. As always, however, we look after the process to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Yes, we can.

The graphic elements and other content on your stand are the means by which you communicate with your audience, so it’s important to get them right. We can help in a number of ways depending on the way you prefer to work, or who else is involved in your marketing and communications.

One option is that we work closely with you to create artwork based on your instructions, and then produce all the graphic elements as required. Alternatively, we can work with your appointed marketing or design agency, taking artwork from them and then implementing the production. A third option is that we handle the entire process – everything from creative design through to finished artwork and production.

All these possibilities are available to you, with the understanding that in all cases, we produce the finished items. These elements are integral to your exhibition stand, and it’s important that we handle their production to ensure the highest quality at every stage.

A bespoke stand is a product of our design team’s creativity. Our designers respond to the brief using their knowledge, expertise and imagination, with the freedom to use

any material in any size or colour – within the laws of physics and your budget! The choices are infinite, and the results are superb.

A system stand is put together from off-the-shelf components, so it’s restricted by the choice of elements available. It certainly doesn’t offer the range of design possibilities that a bespoke stand can bring.

When considering the two options, it’s always worth bearing in mind issues of sustainability in addition to the creative potential. Most system stand components are manufactured from aluminium, a precious resource. Bespoke stands, on the other hand, tend to be timber-based, and if the timber is sourced from sustainable forests – which ours is – then we feel there is an environmental benefit.

Our bespoke timber-based stands are manufactured to high standards with quality and durability in mind. In our experience, timber-based stands are able to withstand the rigours of use across multiple events over several years – certainly long enough to last until it’s time to evolve the design.

Your stand can be as reusable as you want or need it to be, and in fact all the stands we create are reusable to varying degrees. Reusability is key to building a more sustainable industry, and this aspect of what we do has become ever more important over our four decades in business.

If there’s any possibility that your stand, or parts of it, might be needed again in future, we build this into the design right from the start. The key to this is knowing as early as possible what kind of reusability is required. This helps make sure that reusability becomes part of the decision-making process, and is integral to the stand’s overall design.

Reusability depends on quality and care being taken throughout every process – from design and manufacture to transportation, site builds and storage. With our expertise and over 40 years of experience behind us, you can always expect exceptional quality and care from us, however long your stand is designed to last.
